Accelerated Power Development Reforms Programme (APDRP)- In addition to the Electricity Act, the central government created the Accelerated Power Development Reforms Programme (APDRP). This offers Fiscal Deficit support to State governments which undertake a reforms program which would bring down the aggregate technical and commercial (AT &C) losses from the conventional levels of around 50 per cent to a target of 15 per cent.
