Agreement on Agriculture (AoA)- one of the major agreements of the WTO. The AoA aims to liberalise agricultural trade by eliminating distortions on it. It has three basic clauses: market access (tarrification), domestic support and export competition. The AoA prohibits those supports, which do not set any production limits or which supports unlimited production. The WTO permits blue box and green box supports.
