Budget 2010 -11 and R& D support – the budget has allowed a weighted deduction of 200% for expenditure incurred for in-house R&D to all manufacturing businesses. The budget also extends this measure to all sectors. The budget also proposes to enhance the weighted deduction on payments made to national laboratories, research associations, colleges, universities and other institutional for scientific research.
