Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZs)- To make India a global trading and manufacturing hub, under the scheme trade-related infrastructure including warehousing will be set up to facilitate the import and export of goods and services with freedom to carry out trade transactions in convertible currencies. Besides permitting FDI up to 100 per cent in the development and establishment of these zones each zone would have minimum outlay of Rs.100 crores and units in the FTWZs will qualify for all other benefits as applicable for SEZ units.
