Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan – is a programme implemented by the central government in co- operation with the state governments for the promotion of primary education in the country for the students in the age group 6-14 years. After fulfilling the task of cent percent enrolment ration in schools, the objective of the scheme has been expanded to reduction of dropouts and improving the quality of student learning.
